Sesami Street
「セサミストリート」が、4月3日で放送終了。本国の制作会社「セサミワークショップ」が日本語での放送に切り替えるように要請していたものをNHKが断ったため、ということらしい。NHKは「日本語の教育番組は数多く放送していて、原作のまま放送することに意味がある」説明している。が、いまも主音声は日本語で、副音声は英語で放送しているのだけど、それで何か問題があるというのだろうか？
NHKも番組の放送権をただ買い取って放送するだけじゃなくて「セサミワークショップ」と共同制作で日本独自の「セサミ」を作ればいいのにと思ってしまう。というか、本国からのオファーは、こっちだったんじゃないのかね。NHKとしては、そんな人も時間もお金もないというところか。だったら、もう少しましな教育番組を作ってくれ。
